Richland County Sheriff’ Darrell Berglin is alerting local citizens that his department is again receiving calls regarding driveway pavement scams. The sheriff said that to avoid problems he suggests that any paving or roofing jobs include a written contract that includes all costs of the project up front. Another good rule of thumb is to do business with local contractors not individuals who knock on your door and tell you that they have a deal for you. [Read more…]
Johnson Brothers Theft Investigation
Richland County Sheriff Darrell Berglin reports two individuals were taken into custody as a result of an investigation that began on Sunday July 25, 2010 of criminal damage to property and theft from a motor vehicle located on property in Akan township. Preparing to Succeed
Recently, after the Super Bowl as I was watching the post game interviews I was struck by how Packer quarterback Aaron Rodgers responded to a question about how cool and calm he seemed in the biggest game of his career so far. He calmly and confidently replied that he works hard during the week in practice, pays particularly close attention to details in film study and takes his responsibility as a leader on the team very seriously as seriously as anyone on the team.
