WHERE Incident Happened: County Hwy RC and Raymond Lane
What happened: RICHLAND COUNTY, WI — On June 2, 2026, emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of County Highway RC and Raymond Lane for a report of a vehicle versus bicycle crash. Preliminary investigation indicates that a truck traveling eastbound on County Hwy RC attempted to navigate around a juvenile who was riding a bicycle, also traveling eastbound on Hwy RC. The juvenile veered into the lane of traffic and the operator of the truck was unable to avoid the bicycle. The juvenile sustained injuries as a result of the collision. Emergency medical personnel provided treatment at the scene before transporting the juvenile to Richland Hospital. Due to the severity of the injuries, the juvenile was subsequently transported by Med Flight to the University of Wisconsin Hospital for further medical care. The crash remains under investigation. No additional information is being released at this time.
