As with any computer system from time to time an error can be made. On November 18th, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department booked a male subject into the jail who holds the same name as his father, and the suffix of Sr. was selected in error instead of Jr. The problem has been resolved in our records system. The error was posted on a website that auto reports inmate names from several surrounding counties, Richland County did not report this name or any name to the website.
